I don't use Vanced but dang, if I had a free reward rn I'd give it. The amount of random shorts I got were immesureable when I did use the older vanced/normal YouTube. The worst part is, they don't even come from my subscriptions. Just random girls dancing or some clickbait title. Honestly to whoever made this an option 100iq play. It's blantantly obvious it's because of Vanced. I hadn't been banned in like 10 years then I get banned because I installed Vanced and logged into it. Come on dude, stop lying to yourself. I'm not calling out the devs, but it's painfully obvious Vanced does get some people's accounts banned.
Its "safe" to use. Google backup might be able to recognize which apps you are using and then forward them to google, but I doubt even that. If you have root, you don't even need to use microG, that means its even more impossible to get banned. Tldr, No. 24.
If you’re like me and don’t like annoying recommendations and comments on YT, you can use Hush/Intention/ShutUp Comment Blocker (all available in App Store iOS) to block annoying elements in YouTube.
If you are applying patches on the installed YouTube app, then depending on the patches you choose you may get the warning saying something like "split configuration detected. The patches you choose requires resource patching, hence you may encounter some errors".

Maybe for smaller creators I can see it but the reality is these guys live dream lives, they can make thousands off of a single video, even if it's low effort, because YouTube's algorithm heavily favors quantity over quality, which is why creators who take months to upload content RARELY climb up the algorithm, while 10 minute daily speculation
